About the role
At Chime, we’re building financial products that empower everyday people to thrive. Our mission is to help members feel confident and in control of their money—without complexity or friction.  We’re looking for a creative, customer-obsessed Product Manager to lead the next generation of Cards experiences within our Spending team. This role sits at the heart of how millions of members engage with Chime every day—how they spend, pay, and express financial confidence through their Chime card.

You’ll shape how members activate, use, and manage their cards, blending emotional design and utility in a way that feels unmistakably Chime. We’re looking for someone who’s driven by user delight, inspired by mobile-first experiences, and comfortable turning big ideas into measurable impact.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $155,000 and up to $195,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

Chime is in-office Monday through Thursday every week.

In this role, you will

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Chime’s Cards experiences, including how members activate, use, manage, and personalize their card.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and marketing to create member-first, mobile-native experiences that drive daily engagement and trust.
  • Lead discovery and experimentation to uncover emotional and behavioral insights around spending and money confidence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to bring new card features to life—balancing user experience, operational efficiency, and business goals.
  • Use data, research, and rapid testing to inform decisions and continuously improve how members experience spending at Chime.
  • Communicate strategy and decisions clearly to partners, leaders, and stakeholders across the company.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have

  • Experience in product management for high-scale consumer mobile products, ideally in areas like commerce, lifestyle, social, or financial wellness.
  • A strong sense of customer empathy and creative product design, with a passion for crafting delightful, intuitive user journeys.
  • A proven track record of shipping mobile products that balance user value and business impact.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to inspire cross-functional teams and align around a shared vision.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, product analytics, and mobile UX best practices.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments where innovation and iteration go hand in hand.
