Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Product Owner with strong expertise in the Banking domain, specifically across Payments, Credit Cards, and Treasury Services, with a solid understanding of Customer Acquisition journeys. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and cross-functional partners to define, prioritize, and deliver high-impact banking products.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Drive product strategy and roadmap for Banking and Payment solutions, including Credit Card and Treasury Services.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as the primary liaison between business, technology, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations are incorporated into product design.
- Analyze customer acquisition funnels and propose enhancements to improve onboarding and conversion.
- Track product performance using relevant KPIs and recommend continuous improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 9–11 years of overall experience as a Product Owner / Business Analyst / Product Manager in the Banking domain.
- Strong hands-on experience in Payments, Credit Cards, and/or Treasury Services.
- Good understanding of customer acquisition, onboarding workflows, and digital banking journeys.
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to write clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with US banks or large financial institutions.
- Exposure to digital banking platforms and payment ecosystems.
- CSPO / SAFe PO or similar Agile certifications (preferred).
