Program Manager Beauty Tech

When building new high-end technical products, the wish list is usually never-ending. As the Program Manager, you will help us prioritize, align and develop to reach our goals. Always keeping focus and ensuring delivery of the most important projects. You are not just managing the roadmap, you’re living it.

Our Program Manager role is part of the Beauty Tech department, reporting to the Head of Technology of Beauty Tech and will:

• Translate complex IT questions into clear user stories understandable for both business and tech
• Prioritize initiatives, manage scope and make trade-offs to ensure timely delivery of the most valuable outcomes
• Lead multiple projects simultaneously for a wide range of programs
• Manage internal- and external stakeholders on delivery by our timelines and follow the agreed scope of work
• Ensure that all teams are aligned on the status of our projects and know the dot on the horizon we are working towards
• Be the owner from our business perspective on all our projects and ensure that our vision is built
• Have a pragmatic and agile approach in creating the project MVP and follow-up phases
• Use Jira as the central tool to maintain full visibility of all current projects and their status
• Guarantee that everything that goes live is well documented, tested and according to agreed plans.

Qualifications

You are a highly energetic person with a positive attitude and a unique knack for getting things done and connecting with other people. Agility is key in your work, and you are not afraid of thinking out of the box to ensure delivery on key deliverables.

You are a seasoned expert with a strong track record in complex and technical project management, IT transformation and leadership in complex environments. You excel in stakeholder management, know exactly how to activate people but will come with a hands-on attitude yourself as well.

• 5+ years relevant working experience in technical project management
• Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing skills
• Strong experience working in agile, product-driven environments where you are using delivery metrics or KPIs to track progress and steer execution
• Experience setting up and maintaining delivery cadence, governance and reporting across multiple teams and projects
• Ability to understand complex technical topics and translate this to tangible stories for both the business and the developers
• Experience identifying, managing and mitigating risks, dependencies and delivery bottlenecks
• Experience coordinating delivery with external vendors or partners
• Ability to use data to drive decisions and improvements
• Strong presentation skills.

Location and working conditions
While an 80/20 office/home working flexibility is available, this role requires a strong on-site presence to engage with stakeholders and build connections effectively. This position is based in Amsterdam at the Rituals Central Head Office.
