Program Manager - Treasury & Calypso Implementation (Turkish Speaking)

We are seeking a senior Program Manager with deep Treasury domain experience to lead the end-to-end implementation of Calypso for a large financial institution. This role requires strong leadership across business, IT, and vendor teams, with hands-on ownership of delivery, governance, and stakeholder management. Fluency in Turkish is mandatory due to direct engagement with regional stakeholders.

This is not a coordinator role. This is a delivery-owning, risk-bearing program leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the full Calypso implementation program, covering front-to-back treasury workflows.
• Lead multi-stream delivery across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, Finance, and IT.
• Act as the primary interface with Treasury business stakeholders, Calypso vendors, system integrators, and internal technology teams.
• Define and manage program roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Govern scope, budget, timelines, and delivery quality, ensuring no surprises at steering committee level.
• Manage data migration, integrations, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Drive regulatory, risk, and compliance alignment across treasury systems.
• Prepare and present executive-level status reports, RAID logs, and steering committee updates.
• Identify risks early, challenge assumptions, and take decisive corrective actions.
• Ensure strong post-implementation stabilisation and handover.

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Treasury systems program management within banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering Calypso implementations (hands-on, not just exposure).
• Strong understanding of:
• Treasury products (FX, MM, IRD, Bonds, Derivatives)
• Trade lifecycle and STP
• Risk, P&L, accounting, and confirmations
• Experience managing large-scale, multi-vendor programs.
• Strong command of program governance, budgeting, and senior stakeholder management.
• Ability to challenge both business and technology teams constructively.
• Fluent in Turkish and English (spoken and written) – non-negotiable.
• Experience working with Tier-1 banks or large financial institutions preferred.

Nice to Have (But Not Mandatory)

• Experience in regional treasury transformations (EMEA / Turkey).
• Prior exposure to regulatory-driven treasury initiatives.
• PMP / Prince2 / Agile certifications.
