The Role:
Crown Perth is undergoing significant transformation, and we’re looking for a Fit Out Project Manager to help bring this vision to life. To support this, we are now seeking a Project Manager to join an existing team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering a portfolio of new build, fit out, and refurbishment projects. Working closely with external consultants, contractors and the business, this role will require strong collaboration, time management, teamwork and superior communication skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Deliver multiple projects end-to-end – from inception to completion, ensuring time, cost, and quality objectives are met.
- Develop and manage project plans – including execution strategies, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder sign-offs.
- Lead procurement activities – prepare and issue RFPs/RFTs, manage tender processes, and coordinate with the procurement team.
- Oversee design and construction delivery – collaborate with consultants, secure approvals, ensure compliance with codes, and administer contracts.
- Monitor performance and reporting – track progress against critical path schedules, manage risks, and prepare periodic status reports.
- Provide leadership and stakeholder engagement – chair meetings, guide the team, and maintain clear communication across all parties.
What We’re Looking For
- Industry Experience – 2–5 years in commercial construction project management, ideally in interior fit-out and refurbishment, with strong knowledge of drawings, buildability, and compliance with Australian Safety Standards and WHS legislation.
- Project Delivery – Proven success delivering commercial projects on time and within budget, across multiple delivery frameworks with Tier 2 and Tier 3 builders.
- Stakeholder & Client Management – Skilled in leading teams, subcontractors, and consultants while ensuring high standards of programming, methodology, and client satisfaction.
- Organisational Excellence – Exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, with resilience under pressure and a strong ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
- Contract Negotiation & Procurement – Expertise in negotiating agreements, managing procurement schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services in line with project objectives.
