Program Manager
Overview:
The Program Manager will be responsible for the successful management and execution of complex IT projects and operations. This role oversees project planning, execution, staffing, risk management, and client communication to ensure program objectives are met on time and within scope.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex IT projects and programs of similar size and scope
- Oversee planning, execution, staffing, and risk mitigation activities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple technical disciplines
- Track project performance, deliverables, and milestones
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and project governance standards
- Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to project execution
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience managing IT projects and operations
- Experience managing similar-sized teams and scopes
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skill
Certifications (Required or Preferred):
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Agile/Scrum certification preferred
- Active DoD Secret clearance (minimum requirement)
