Project Manager Role Overview: 

Peak Energy develops, constructs and operates re-energy projects.  

Peak Energy is currently in the process of acquiring and constructing several mid-size solar projects in Japan from developers.  

With this expansion, Peak Energy is searching for a Project Manager. You are required to select an EPC and manage the construction by the EPC of multiple renewable energy projects that will be completed. You will also be expected to participate in the team from the early stages of development and advise the development team on the constructive aspects of the project. 

 

Responsibilities: 

EPC Management: 

  • Lead the technical aspects of the JV, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. 
  • Collaborate with the partner organization to align technical strategies and achieve project milestones. 

 

Technical Expertise: 

  • Bring expertise in solar, wind, and battery technologies to enhance the technical capabilities of the business. 
  • Demonstrate a track record of successfully building at least 100 MW of renewable energy projects in the country. 

 

Contract Negotiation: 

  • Experience in negotiating EPC contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization. 
  • Work closely with legal and procurement teams to finalize agreements. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Please note Japanese language proficiency is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree is a plus. 
  • Proven experience in wind and battery technologies. 
  • Demonstrated success in building at least 100 MW of renewable energy projects. 
  • Experience negotiating EPC contracts and managing construction projects. 
  • Senior-level leadership experience in the renewable energy sector.
