Project Manager – Rostering
12‑month fixed‑term contract | Full‑time
Corporate Office – Richmond (hybrid working options available)
We are now seeking an experienced Project Manager – Rostering to lead a critical workforce technology initiative, transitioning Epworth’s enterprise rostering system from an on‑premise environment to a secure, scalable cloud‑based platform.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Projects and Change, this role is accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of Epworth’s enterprise rostering transformation. You will lead planning, solution evaluation, implementation readiness and transition activities to ensure the new cloud solution improves reliability, workforce efficiency and long‑term sustainability.
Working in close partnership with stakeholders across ICT, Clinical Operations, HR, Finance, Procurement and Cyber Security, you will provide strong vendor leadership, support workforce change across an organisation of approximately 8,000 people, and ensure delivery aligns with Epworth’s digital strategy, clinical safety standards and governance frameworks.
You will make an impact by:
- Leading the end‑to‑end delivery of Epworth’s enterprise rostering system transition from on‑premise to cloud
- Developing and managing detailed project plans, roadmaps, schedules, budgets and risk registers
- Coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure business, clinical and technical requirements are met
- Managing vendor relationships, including contracts, milestones, service design, SLAs and issue escalation
- Ensuring solutions align with Epworth’s enterprise architecture, cyber security, data governance and procurement frameworks
- Supporting change and adoption across a large, diverse workforce while maintaining continuity of care
- Providing clear, timely and high‑quality project reporting through established governance forums
- Embedding clinical governance, risk management and safety principles at every stage of the project lifecycle

Qualifications
About you
You are an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in delivering complex IT or digital projects, ideally within healthcare or similarly regulated environments. You are confident working with diverse stakeholder groups, navigating competing priorities and translating complex requirements into practical, deliverable outcomes.
You will bring:
- Relevant project management and/or IT qualifications
- Demonstrated experience delivering system implementations or cloud migration projects
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across clinical, technical and operational settings
- Strong vendor and contract management capability
- Understanding of enterprise systems, integrations, data flows and reporting impacts
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
- A values‑based approach aligned to Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence
Experience in healthcare, workforce management systems, change management or digital health initiatives will be highly regarded.
