We are recruiting several psychiatric nurse practitioners to work in post-acute settings in several area of N. Carolina including Fayetteville, Hickory, Boone and Lumberton, N.C.
The Psych Nurse Practitioner as a Member of a Multispecialty group practice evaluates patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Diagnoses disorders, including nature and extent, and determines the appropriate course of treatment for the patient. Prescribes and manages medication as indicated. Monitors and provides consultation for psychiatric in-patient admissions.
