Job Duties
includes comprehensive evaluation, documentation, intervention when problems develop, and stabilization of individuals when needed.
Provide specialized care to inpatients and outpatients, and provide consultation to patients.
Conduct counseling, crisis intervention, medication management, milieu therapy, group therapy and debriefings.
Serve as an expert educator, advisor and consultant
Coordinates outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care
Qualified Candidates possess the following requirements:
Masters in Nursing required
RN license in the state of Georgia
Board Certification in Nurse Practitioner specialty of training required, plus substance abuse treatment experience a plus
DEA license (not required for application, may need to be obtained in time)
