Position Overview:
ShyftLabs is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge AI applications. You will be responsible for testing complex agentic AI systems, enterprise integrations, and data-driven products that serve Fortune 500 companies. This role requires expertise in both traditional software testing and specialized AI/ML testing methodologies to deliver robust, scalable products that meet enterprise-grade standards.

Job Responsibilities:
Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for AI applications, including model performance, accuracy, and reliability testingDevelop automated test frameworks for enterprise integrations, APIs, and real-time data processing systemsPerform end-to-end testing of agentic AI workflows and complex multi-system integrationsCollaborate with engineering teams to implement continuous testing practices and quality gatesTest cloud-agnostic deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP environmentsConduct performance testing for high-throughput enterprise workloads and scalability requirementsWork with Product Managers and Technical Leads to define acceptance criteria and testing requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field5+ years of QA engineering experience with strong fundamentals in software testing methodologiesExperience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar tools)API testing expertise including REST APIs, GraphQL, Postman, and integration testingDatabase testing skills with SQL proficiency and experience testing data pipelinesExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of distributed systems testingProgramming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation developmentExperience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflowsStrong analytical skills with ability to identify edge cases and design comprehensive test scenariosCommunication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and document findings clearly
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience testing applications that use LLMs and agentic systems in production environmentsKnowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, or K6) for high-scale systemsExperience with real-time systems testing and event-driven architecturesBackground in enterprise software testing or business intelligence platforms
