As a Quant Developer, you will work closely with quantitative analysts, data scientists, and senior developers to design, implement, and maintain trading models, risk management tools, and analytics solutions. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain quantitative models and algorithms using Python.
  • Assist in implementing trading strategies, backtesting frameworks, and risk analytics tools.
  • Analyze large financial datasets to extract actionable insights and support model development.
  • Collaborate with senior developers and quantitative analysts to optimize model performance.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and streamline data processing pipelines.
  • Document code, models, and methodologies clearly to maintain transparency and reproducibility.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in quantitative finance, algorithmic trading, and Python development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, including libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and Matplotlib.
  • Understanding of financial markets, instruments, and basic quantitative concepts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform data analysis efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to machine learning, statistical modeling, or time-series analysis.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Basic understanding of probability, linear algebra, and calculus applied to finance.
