Development of high‑performance Off‑the‑Road (OTR) tires worldwide.
Your Mission – Take Responsibility from Day One
In this role, you will work at the intersection of product development, technology, and manufacturing. You can shape the tire from a simulation of the first idea, via the testing of prototypes in our plants to incorporating market feedback during its use in the field. You will collaborate with experienced specialists while also taking ownership of your own tasks early on:
- Support and lead Off-the-road tire development and know‑how projects focusing on performance, timing, cost, and product quality
- Define tire specifications for experimental and serial tires
- Plan, order, and follow up on tire testing programs
- Identify opportunities for tire performance simulation; place and follow up on simulation tasks
- Take product line responsibility across the full product life cycle
- Support the industrialization of OTR tires
- Perform structured problem solving within standard processes
- Document knowledge in a structured and accessible way (e.g., SharePoint)
- Prepare invention disclosures and patents for tire design
- Plan and evaluate benchmarking activities for OTR tires
- Provide technical support for production
- Deliver technical training to customers
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing on new production equipment for OTR tires
Qualifications
- Pre-Bologna Degree or Integrated Master’s in an Engineering area, preferably Mechanical
- Project Management skills (mandatory)
- Self-organization and ability to work with autonomy
- Good communication and interaction skills
- English language skills (written and spoken)
- Portuguese language skills (plus)
- Availability for traveling (mandatory).
