Rehabilitation Consultant - Contractor (OT/EP/Physio/Psychologist/Social Worker)

This role is contractor-based. On a day-to-day basis you will be an integral part of the close-knit team of Kairros Consultants who work with and support people who have sustained a psychological or physical injury in the workplace.
 

As a valued team member, you will have the responsibility of assessing needs and then providing effective solutions and strategies to ensure that Kairros clients receive a safe return to work within their same employer or with a new employer as part of their rehabilitation and recovery. 
 

You will be responsible for completing high‑quality assessments such as:
 

• Worksite, vocational, functional, ergonomic, equipment, home and job analysis
• Initial assessments to identify return‑to‑work barriers
• Providing insights and recommendations to the primary Rehabilitation Consultant to progress case outcomes
• Liaising with insurers, employers, treating practitioners, and workers where required
• Completing accurate case notes and service documentation aligned with SLA and compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Contractor experience is highly regarded with minimum 2 years of experience as a Rehabilitation Consultant
• Qualifications and relevant professional registration in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Chiropractic, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling and Social Work.
• A confident approach towards engaging with multiple stakeholders such as insurers, medical practitioners, employers, colleagues and employees;
• Willingness to travel (car and license essential)
• Proven written and verbal communication skills
• Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
• A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
