We are seeking a highly energized, organized and professional candidate to assist in leading our Room Reservations team at the Castle in the Rockies!

Starting Rate: $28.57 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $31.30.
Job Duties Include:
- Oversee daily operations of the in-house Reservations department (team of up to 19, including three coordinators).
- Collaborate with Sales, Revenue, Marketing, PR, and Operations to develop and implement rates, packages, and reservation processes.
- Serve as the primary resource for Tour, Group, and Leisure reservations, supporting agents with bookings, billing, and high-demand periods.
- Manage group reservations processes, including contract audits, inventory accuracy, rate setup, and presenting group data at pre-cons and RevMax meetings.
- Lead team development by creating training materials, updating SOPs, managing incentives, addressing guest concerns, and supporting departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous Room Reservations, hotel operations or sales experience is an asset
- 18 months+ commitment to role
- Must display strong analytical, organizational and administrative skills to be able to deal with multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong working knowledge of Opera Property Manager System (PMS)
- Working knowledge of Central Reservations System (CRS) is an asset
- Passion for hotel operations with a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills required
- Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Word, and Excel
