About Rad AI

At Rad AI, we’re on a mission to transform healthcare with artificial intelligence. Founded by a radiologist, our AI-driven solutions are revolutionizing radiology—saving time, reducing burnout, and improving patient care. With one of the largest proprietary radiology report datasets in the world, our AI has helped uncover hundreds of new cancer diagnoses and reduced error rates in tens of millions of radiology reports by nearly 50%.

Rad AI has secured over $140M in funding, including a recently oversubscribed Series C ($68M round) led by Transformation Capital, bringing our valuation to $528M. Our investors include Khosla Ventures, World Innovation Lab, Gradient Ventures, Cone Health Ventures, and others—all backing our mission to empower physicians with cutting-edge AI.

Our latest advancements in generative AI are used by thousands of radiologists daily, supporting more than one-third of radiology groups and healthcare systems and nearly 50% of all medical imaging in the U.S. at partners including Cone Health, Jefferson Einstein Health, Geisinger, Guthrie Healthcare System, and Henry Ford Health.

Recognized as one of the most promising healthcare AI companies by CB Insights and AuntMinnie, and ranked by Deloitte as the 19th fastest-growing company in North America, we are building AI-powered solutions that make a real impact. Most recently, Rad AI was named to CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list, highlighting the innovation and momentum behind our mission.

If you’re ready to shape the future of healthcare, we’d love to have you on our team!

Why Join Us:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Revenue Accounting Manager to join our small but growing team. In this high-visibility role, you’ll own the end-to-end revenue lifecycle contract review and deal structuring through billing, revenue recognition, and close, ensuring our financials accurately reflect the impact of our generative AI solutions across radiology groups and health systems.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing complex SaaS and healthcare revenue under ASC 606, including multi-element arrangements, variable consideration, and usage-based models. This role will be responsible for building scalable revenue processes, maintaining accurate deferred and unbilled revenue schedules, partnering closely with Accounting, FP&A, and Revenue Operations, and driving system and process improvements that keep pace with our rapid growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Revenue Recognition: Own all revenue schedules and related reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and full ASC 606 compliance across subscription, usage-based, and milestone contracts.

  • Contract Review: Analyze customer contracts for revenue recognition nuances, identifying performance obligations, variable consideration, and timing impacts.

  • Month-End Close: Prepare and post all monthly revenue-related journal entries; own deferred and unbilled revenue accounts and reconciliations.

  • Revenue Reporting: Produce the monthly revenue close package, summarizing key trends, drivers, and variances for management review.

  • Billing & Collections: Run invoicing and usage true-ups; manage collections and customer communications to maintain healthy cash flow.

  • Implementation Support: Partner with Implementation and Sales Ops to align billing and milestone schedules, ensuring accurate timing of revenue and invoices.

  • Policy & Documentation: Draft revenue recognition memos and propose policy adjustments when needed; maintain process documentation for audit readiness.

  • System Administration: Serve as the administrator for Maxio (or future revenue automation system), driving integration improvements and ensuring data integrity.

  • Audit & Controls: Own revenue-related audit requests and internal control testing, maintaining organized and supportable documentation.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2+ years focused on SaaS revenue recognition and AR processes.

  • Strong command of ASC 606; familiarity with multi-element SaaS arrangements, usage-based billing, and milestone recognition.

  • Experience with ERP and revenue automation tools (NetSuite, Maxio, or similar).

  • Ability to work with data across multiple systems to reconcile and report cleanly.

  • Ability to partner cross-functionally, translating accounting rules into operational clarity.

  • Curious, detail-oriented, and proactive. You’re not just closing the books, you’re helping to build a scalable, auditable revenue model.

Nice to Haves:

  • MBA and/or CPA certification is a strong plus.

  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment.

Join our world-class team as we build and deploy AI solutions that empower physicians and transform patient care—making a meaningful impact on millions of lives.
