THE OPPORTUNITY

CONTEXT: 

Our RUN department, international in scope (EMEA, AMER, APAC) and in full growth, is made up of around fifty experts leveraging IVALUA procurement solutions for our customers post go-live. The team is still growing in order to guarantee the satisfaction of a growing number of customers.

ROLE:

Here at Ivalua, we are currently looking for a RUN IT Engineer. You will be reporting to the RUN Manager of the technical customer support team and you will be responsible for understanding and using various IT processes and monitoring tools. You will work closely with different teams under the Run department to understand their needs and act as a bridge between Run and IT so that we are able to give and take ground level operational feedback both ways.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

Datadog Implementation & Configuration:

• Configure and deploy Server monitoring tools (Datadog/Grafana) across various cloud environments, on-premise servers, and containerized applications.
• Set up custom dashboards, monitors, and alerts to track application, infrastructure, and network performance.

Monitoring & Alerting:

• Design and implement other possible monitoring solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of systems and applications.
• Create and fine-tune alerts and thresholds to proactively detect performance degradation, outages, and other critical incidents.

Collaboration & Troubleshooting:

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to understand daily operational running processes 
• Troubleshoot and analyze issues identified through Monitoring tools (example Datadog), providing recommendations for resolution.

Performance Optimization:

• Work with engineering teams to analyze metrics, logs, and traces to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Generate and deliver comprehensive reports to stakeholders on system performance, outages, and trends.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on Datadog configurations, integrations, and best practices

YOUR PROFILE

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience of experience with Datadog
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience with proven skills

• Time and stress management skills.
