CrossCountry Consulting is seeking a Founding Sales Development Representative to join our Sales Development team within Operations. This role combines individual contribution with coaching responsibilities, driving business development efforts while mentoring consultants in our SDR rotational program.

What You'll Do:

  • Own outbound outreach tied to firm-led events, campaigns, and priority initiatives (e.g., pre-event invitations, scheduling, post-event follow-up).
  • Support lead qualification and follow-up efforts to ensure efficient sales cycles.
  • Generate and conduct qualification conversations and smoothly hand off qualified meetings to senior Business Development leaders, Directors, and Partners.
  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns aligned with Marketing and Business Development priorities.
  • Partner closely with Business Development and Marketing to align messaging, timing, and targeting.
  • Create and document SDR workflows, outreach sequences, and best practices.
  • Continuously improve outreach effectiveness through testing and iteration.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and opportunity progress in Salesforce CRM.
  • Conduct research on target accounts and contacts to support outreach efforts.
  • Assist in managing sales pipeline activities, including updating opportunity statuses and tracking key deal metrics.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and tools.
  • Serve as a player-coach by mentoring and supporting consultants in the SDR rotational program.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance solutions and internal processes.
  • What You'll Bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in outbound sales development, inside sales, or business development
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar sales technology.
  • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
  • Comfortable using data and reporting tools to track sales metrics.
