What you’ll do
- Build consultative relationships by understanding customers’ business goals and designing value-based Ivanti solutions.
- Lead technical sales engagements, from product demonstrations to pilots and proof-of-concept projects, tailoring each to diverse customer needs.
- Partner with account managers and channel resellers to develop and grow pipelines, forecast opportunities, and drive successful outcomes.
- Advise customers and partners with astute verbal, written, and presentation skills—whether onsite or via collaboration platforms like WebEx/MS Teams.
- Collaborate within our Japanese and global teams to share insights, refine approaches, and ensure a world-class customer experience.
- Manage activities in Salesforce to keep projects on track and stakeholders informed.
- Travel as needed to customer locations across Tokyo and the surrounding region, deepening partnerships and delivering hands-on support.
What you will bring
- Minimum 5 years’ pre-sales experience working with endpoint management, cybersecurity, or related IT solutions (such as Tanium, Microsoft SCCM, Airwatch, Intune, Symantec Altiris, IBM Bigfix, etc.).
- Proven ability to lead complex technical sales cycles and provide consultative technical expertise to enterprise clients.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Technical proficiency with collaboration tools (WebEx, Teams) and familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborative mindset, problem-solving approach, and a passion for learning.
- Experience working with channel partners and resellers is a plus.
- Nice-to-have: Certifications in technical sales, IT security, or endpoint management; fluency in additional languages; prior experience in a global team environment.
