Sales Manager – Government (Land-Based Defense Systems)

Location: Busan, South Korea
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 8–10 years

The Role: We are looking for a Sales Manager – Government (Land-Based Defense Systems) to take ownership of the land-based defense systems business in Korea.

This role will focus on building trusted relationships with government and military stakeholders, shaping sales opportunities, and securing long-term partnerships that drive growth in this critical sector.

What You’ll Do:

  • Shape and deliver the sales strategy for land-based defense in Korea, ensuring we meet both local needs and global objectives.

  • Build strong, lasting connections with defense organizations, procurement authorities, and military leadership.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, from early engagement through to winning complex contracts.

  • Lead the preparation of proposals, tenders, and negotiations while navigating Korea’s defense procurement processes.

  • Work closely with technical, commercial, and legal teams to align customer needs with the right solutions.

  • Stay ahead of policy changes, defense spending priorities, and market dynamics to position the business for success.

  • Represent the company at key industry events and government forums as a trusted partner in defense solutions.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Engineering, Defense Studies, or a related field.

  • 8–10 years of experience in government sales, defense contracting, or business development within the defense sector.

  • Deep knowledge of Korea’s defense acquisition and tendering processes.

  • A successful track record of winning and managing defense contracts.

  • Strong network within military and defense communities; prior service experience is a plus.

  • Skilled communicator and negotiator, able to operate confidently across senior government and military levels.

  • Fluency in both Korean and English, with the ability to manage sensitive and technical discussions across local and international stakeholders.
