🚀 The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Sales Manager – Southern Africa to lead and expand our luxury safari sales across Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, and Madagascar.

This is a strategic leadership role where you’ll own regional growth, build lasting relationships, and collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional client experiences.

You’ll lead and inspire a fully remote team of travel consultants, shaping one of ASG’s most exciting and high-impact divisions.

🌿 What You’ll Do

Regional & Strategic Leadership

  • Own and drive sales targets for the Southern Africa region.
  • Deliver consistent growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Lead through data insights, collaboration, and creativity.

Relationship & Partnership Building

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with lodges, DMCs, and key tourism stakeholders.
  • Represent ASG’s brand and values across the region.
  • Champion sustainable, responsible tourism practices.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations to align offerings.
  • Ensure seamless client journeys and world-class service delivery.
  • Contribute insights and innovation to product development and campaigns.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and support a remote team of luxury travel consultants.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, motivation, and excellence.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment to bring in top-tier sales talent.

Requirements

  • .Proven experience in luxury travel or safari sales (Southern Africa focus).
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
  • Tech-savvy — comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools.
  • Passion for sustainability and responsible tourism.
