Alara (a Fluent Software Group company) is a full AI-powered dental suite built specifically for specialty dentists — including endodontists, periodontists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons.
Specialty dentists primarily receive patients through referrals from general dentists, and Alara automates the critical communication loop—assembling patient notes, reports, and updates—and sending them seamlessly back to the referring general dentist.
The platform also manages AI-driven scheduling, patient information, and automated follow-ups such as check-ins, recovery status updates, and reminders.
Overview
Alara is redefining communication and workflow automation for dental practices through advanced AI reception, transcription, and integrated patient engagement tools. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving early revenue growth by generating new business, managing pipeline, and supporting adoption across key partners. This role requires someone who is comfortable with technology and can confidently learn, navigate, and explain AI-driven tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive outbound prospecting (calls, email, partner-introduced leads).
• Follow up on inbound and partner-referral leads; qualify opportunities and schedule demos.
• Research target practices/DSOs to tailor outreach and identify decision-makers.
• Maintain strict CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting.
• Conduct discovery conversations to uncover workflow needs and pain points.
• Deliver clear, confident, and technically informed platform demos using approved sales materials.
• Build strong relationships with partner ecosystems (TDO, ClearDent).
• Manage prospects through evaluation, trial, and onboarding cycles.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly KPIs tied to pipeline generation and closed-won ARR.
• Support new customers through their trial period to maximize conversion.
• Identify upsell opportunities (Professional Transcription, AI Receptionist).
• Maintain regular touchpoints to nurture satisfaction and expand usage.
• Track competitive intelligence and industry insights.
• Provide structured feedback to Product and Leadership teams based on user conversations.
Qualifications
• 1–3+ years in SaaS sales, SDR/BDR, account management, or customer-facing roles.
• Strong written, verbal, and demo communication skills.
• Technically savvy — able to quickly learn and explain software, AI tools, and platform workflows.
• Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred).
• Highly organized, goal-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to maintain execution cadence.
• Dental or healthcare experience is an asset, not a requirement.
