Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, build, and optimize customized solutions within our Salesforce platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing applications that enhance our legal intake process.  As a key member of our technology team, you will work closely with product development and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise and communication skills with a collaborative mindset, delivering reliable applications that drive operational excellence and business growth. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design and implement customized solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other 3rd Salesforce tools
• Build integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware;
• Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and management of the Salesforce environment, including workflows, validation rules, process automation, and security permissions;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, then design and develop scalable solutions that align with Salesforce best practices;
• Ensure data integrity within Salesforce through regular maintenance and best practices for data migration, deduplication, and backup processes;
• Provide timely support for user issues related to Salesforce, including debugging, performance optimization, and deployment;
• Identify root causes of problems and implement long-term fixes;
• Partner with stakeholders, including business analysts, product managers, and other developers, to gather requirements and deliver solutions;
• Regularly communicate project status and technical updates to the team and leadership;
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, data models, and custom code, to ensure ongoing supportability and future enhancements. 

Essential Skills

• Experience as a Salesforce Developer;
• Strong proficiency with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Experience Cloud (Salesforce Communities), and Salesforce APIs;
• Experience with Salesforce administration, including configuring workflows, process automation, and security settings;
• Familiarity with data modeling, SOQL, and Salesforce data management best practices;
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs;
• Experience with CI/CD tools for Salesforce deployments (e.g., Gearset, Jenkins);
• Familiarity with Salesforce managed packages and AppExchange solutions. 

Highly Desirable Skills

• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification;
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies;
• Experience with Avonni a plus;
• Experience working with Salesforce CRM systems in legal, healthcare, or SaaS industries.
