SAP Developer – RISE & Fiori Focus

We are looking for an experienced SAP Developer with a strong focus on SAP RISE environments and SAP Fiori development to support and extend an SAP S/4HANA landscape. The role will focus on designing, developing, and enhancing Fiori/UI5 applications, while ensuring alignment with RISE best practices, security standards, and cloud constraints.

The developer will work closely with functional consultants and architects to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Fiori / UI5 Development

· Design, develop, and enhance SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications

· Extend standard Fiori apps using in-app extensibility and side-by-side approaches

· Develop custom UI5 applications aligned with SAP UX guidelines

· Ensure responsive design, performance optimization, and usability standards

Backend Development & Integration

· Develop and expose OData services (CDS-based and Gateway)

· Implement ABAP for HANA developments, including:

o CDS Views

o AMDP (nice to have)

o Enhancements, BAdIs, and exits

· Support integration with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP services

RISE with SAP Compliance

· Develop within RISE constraints (no OS/database access)

· Follow SAP clean-core principles and extensibility guidelines

· Support transport management and change processes in RISE landscapes

· Collaborate with Basis and security teams to ensure compliant deployments

Support & Delivery

· Participate in system testing (SIT, UAT), cutover, and hypercare

· Analyze and resolve production issues related to custom developments

· Produce technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials

· Strong experience as an SAP Developer in S/4HANA environments

· Proven hands-on experience with SAP Fiori / SAPUI5

· Solid knowledge of ABAP for HANA

· Experience developing and consuming OData services

· Understanding of RISE with SAP architecture and restrictions

· Experience working in cloud or private cloud SAP landscapes

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  · Experience supporting SAP upgrades or S/4HANA rollouts
