QED.ai (https://qed.ai) is a tech company focused on public health and food security in Sub-Saharan Africa. We are looking for a ScanForm Support Technician for HIV programs in Côte d’Ivoire.
Provision of technical support and assistance to government and implementing partners with data quality monitoring and evaluation. Identify problems, diagnose causes, and resolve or delegate tickets to appropriate staff.
Remote technical assistance guided by data, answering phone calls reactively and also making phone calls proactively to improve data quality and correct use of registers and workflows.
In-person training, mentorship, and supportive supervision during regular site supervision, in coordination with project partners.
Residency in Côte d'Ivoire.
Strong experience working within the health system, including exposure to facility- or community-based health programs.
Understanding of health information systems (HIS) and routine health data collection processes.
Experience providing mentorship, on-the-job support, or technical assistance to health workers or data staff.
Native or near-native fluency in French.
Knowledge of local languages used in health facilities is a plus.
Knows HIV guidelines and the HIV testing algorithm by heart.
Patience.
Emotional intelligence and strong face-to-face communication skills.
Strong logical reasoning and attention to detail.
Ability to compose field reports and summaries.
Ability to listen carefully to clients and partners and communicate their needs accurately back to the technical team.
Experience and comfort with making public presentations.
High proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to compose clear and accurate written communication.
English typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
Highly preferred full-time employment of at least 40 hours per week. Promising students with exceptional skills should contribute at least 24 hrs/week.

Familiarity with other HIV program areas beyond HIV testing.
