The Senior Account Executive – Public Sector drives net-new and expansion revenue across federal civilian agencies, DoD components, and aerospace and defense organizations. This role owns the full federal sales lifecycle—from strategic account planning and opportunity shaping through contract award—selling Resilinc’s AI-powered supply chain risk and resilience platform into complex, compliance-driven environments. 
 
This is a quota-carrying senior role for enterprise sellers who excel in long-cycle federal sales and are motivated by mission-critical outcomes. 

What You Will Do

  • Own and execute strategic account and penetration plans to identify, advance, and close net-new opportunities across federal, aerospace, and defense customers 
  • Lead complex, multi-threaded federal sales cycles from initial engagement through contract award, including competitive procurements 
  • Build and manage pipeline to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets 
  • Establish and maintain trusted executive-level relationships with senior government leaders, mission owners, contracting officers, and industry partners 
  • Act as a subject matter expert in supply chain risk management, positioning Resilinc’s AI-driven insights to support mission assurance, national security, and operational resilience 
  • Partner with Alliances and channel partners to accelerate pipeline development and deal execution 
  • Provide sales-driven input to FedRAMP and ATO initiatives to support federal market access 
  • Maintain required security clearances, as applicable, to engage defense and national security customers 
  • Ensure forecast accuracy, pipeline hygiene, and CRM discipline in Salesforce 

  • What You Will Bring

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with ownership of net-new and expansion revenue within federal, DoD, and aerospace/defense accounts 
  • Proven success closing large, complex, multi-year federal deals ($1M+ ACV) in competitive, compliance-driven environments 
  • Experience selling mission-critical SaaS platforms; background in supply chain risk, compliance, analytics, or AI-enabled solutions preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain senior-level relationships across federal agencies, DoD components, and defense contractors 
  • Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes, contract vehicles (IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs), and budget-driven buying cycles 
  • Experience navigating security, compliance, and authorization requirements common to federal sales 
  • Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles through contract award 
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding annual quota 
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, MEDDIC, Challenger)  
  • Experience operating in high-growth SaaS environments, with comfort in ambiguity and rapid change 
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator across Product, Security, Customer Success, and Partnerships 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
