Senior Accountant (Bookkeeping) | Get a 21K Signing Bonus

Account specific roles and responsibilities:

• Enter and review financial transactions in QuickBooks accurately and efficiently
• Understand and apply the differences between balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring transactions are recorded correctly
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank, credit card, and other general ledger accounts
• Analyze balance sheet accounts to understand how balances are created and identify when balances appear incorrect or unreasonable
• Investigate discrepancies by determining the source and cause of differences
• Research long-outstanding or uncleared transactions and determine appropriate next steps for resolution
• Identify potential accounting issues, including duplicate, missing, or mis posted transactions
• Utilize available tools such as QuickBooks reports, registers, audit trails, and prior-period data to research posting questions independently before escalating
• Propose and implement practical, time-efficient solutions to resolve accounting discrepancies
• Communicate findings, questions, and resolutions clearly and professionally with team members

Requirements

• With a bachelor’s degree in accountancy
• 2 - 3 years of accounting work experience (Bookkeeping/Payroll)
• Good working knowledge regarding balance sheets, how it is built and maintained
• With QuickBooks experience

• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Willing to work onsite in MAKATI or MANDALUYONG
• Amenable working night shifts
