Senior Accountant

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial data. You’ll work closely with different departments, providing financial insights and contributing to process improvements.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain and oversee the chart of accounts, ensuring accurate financial records and monthly provisions

• Handle fixed assets accounting, ensuring proper tracking, depreciation, and reporting

• Manage accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Analyze financial reports to ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP

• Support the year-end audit process and coordinate with external auditors

• Work with external tax consultants to ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and statutory regulations

• Handle ad hoc financial requests across departments

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency

• Assist with system enhancements and modifications to improve financial reporting

• Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment

Qualifications

• BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 3-5 years of accounting experience (Big 4 experience is a plus)

• Professional qualification or working towards ACCA, ACA is highly regarded

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards

• Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and meeting deadlines
