Requirement:  

• 4 year degree in Accounting, proficient in Excel, 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience. 

• Oracle experience required, HFM experience a plus. 

Summary Description: 

• This Senior Accountant temporary position will assist in the monthly close and reporting process and special projects. 

Essential Job Functions: 

• Journal entry preparation and upload, preparing accounting reconciliations, organizing audit requests and support, ad hoc projects, pulling and summarizing data, and data entry.

Qualifications

Complete special projects and analysis as requested by senior management.

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, as well as CPA required or in process

Minimum of 3-5 years experience, with a mix of experience in Public and Private accounting

Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including knowledge of US GAAP and strong analytical skills

Strong understanding of month-end financial processes and previous experience in consolidations group with month-end closing experience is strongly preferred.

Strong organizational & communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Hyperion/HFM preferred

Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.

Ability to adapt to changing requests & ability to prioritize workload.

Detail oriented
