JavaScript TypeScript Node.js low-code no-code REST GraphQL SQL NoSQL
As an Agentic Automation Engineer, you’ll design and build the next generation of intelligent workflows that combine low-code/no-code platforms and code-first engineering. You’ll help organisations embed autonomous agents and feedback-driven systems into their processes, enabling scalable, resilient, and adaptive automation. Your work will bridge the gap between human decision-making and AI-driven logic, shaping how teams interact with technology in real time.

We are looking for candidates who are excited by the possibilities of agentic automation and passionate about building robust, future-proof systems. Our engineers enjoy exploring new technologies, applying creativity to problem-solving, and working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

As part of an agile software development team, you will:

  • Develop autonomous workflows and intelligent agents using low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., N8N), integrating APIs, webhooks, and event-driven logic to scale automation across systems.
  • Engineer robust automation scripts and microservices with JavaScript and related technologies (Node.js, TypeScript) for real-time data processing and dynamic decision-making.
  • Design modular, interoperable automation architectures that connect diverse tools, REST APIs, databases, and cloud platforms, ensuring resilience and adaptability.
  • Implement feedback-driven systems that monitor performance, learn from outcomes, and self-optimise using agentic principles and AI-enhanced logic.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and operations teams to embed automation into critical business processes.
  • Ensure transparency, ethical alignment, and seamless human–machine interaction in deployed solutions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, automation, or systems integration.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as Node.js.
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code automation tools (ideally N8N, Zapier, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of API integrations (REST/GraphQL), webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience designing modular, scalable automation systems that span multiple services and environments.
  • Understanding of feedback loops, monitoring, and optimisation in automated or AI-driven systems.
  • Solid grasp of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex requirements into clear automation flows.
  • Excellent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Exposure to agentic AI principles, reinforcement learning, or adaptive systems.
  • Experience with event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub).
  • Background in observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering for automated workflows.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for automation and integrations.
  • Experience working with ethical AI frameworks or governance standards.
  • Contribution to open-source automation projects or community initiatives.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • Be part of our collegial environment where responsibility and authority are shared equally amongst colleagues and help create our company culture
  • A culture in which we don’t criticise failure but ensure we learn from our mistakes
  • An Agile environment where your ideas are welcome
  • The possibility to grow and experience different projects
  • Ongoing Training & Mentoring
  • The possibility to travel
