Senior Android Developer

BlackStone eIT is on the lookout for a talented Senior Android Developer to enhance our mobile development team. In this role, you will create exceptional Android applications that provide a smooth and engaging user experience. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping the features and direction of our mobile products, making them not only functional but also enjoyable to use.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality Android applications from scratch, ensuring they meet our clients' needs.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define application features and functionality.
• Implement robust application architecture that allows for scalability and performance optimization.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to enhance application reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and instill best coding practices within the team.
• Stay updated on the latest Android development trends and tools.
• Document development processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with hands-on experience in Jetpack Compose and Coroutines, and other Jetpack libraries.
• Understanding XML UI, and old way of Android implementation.
• Solid understanding of Material Design Guidelines and Android UI/UX principles.
• Experience with MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture and Modularization or other modern Android architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and Android networking libraries such as Retrofit or OkHttp.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools (GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
