Senior Backend Engineer – Cloud & Salesforce Integrations

Role Overview

• We are looking for a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and scale high-performance backend services. This role will focus on developing RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript, deploying cloud-native applications, and enabling seamless integration with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience with design, development, and maintenance of RESTful APIs and backend services using Next.js and TypeScript, ensuring scalability, performance, of the code practices.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS; experience with Azure or GCP is also acceptable.
• Develop and integrate APIs with Salesforce or similar enterprise applications, enabling seamless data exchange and system interoperability.
• Work with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, including accessing data, extracting datasets, and consuming them within backend services.
• Use Terraform to provision cloud infrastructure and enable consistent, automated deployment of backend applications across environments.
• Collaborate with frontend, data, and platform teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Next.js and TypeScript for backend development.
• Proven expertise in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications preferably AWS (Azure, or GCP will also be fine)
• Experience integrating backend systems with Salesforce or comparable SaaS/CRM platforms.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake or similar data platforms, including querying, and using data within backend workflows.
• Experience using Vitest or similar testing frameworks to write, run, and maintain unit tests.

Good to Have skills

Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and cloud deployments
