Senior Backend Engineer – Mobile Apps (All Genders)

Your mission is to power a world-class mobile experience used by millions. As one of two backend engineers in the mobile apps team, you will drive the architecture and feature creation. You’ll join a high-velocity team determined to crack the code of the next social platform to come. We value extreme ownership: you take full responsibility for your scope, driving critical projects autonomously from start to impact.

Missions :

• Design and scale geo-distributed backend services and API-centric systems (REST & GraphQL).
• Demonstrate full ownership and proactivity regarding performance, reliability, scalability, and observability.
• Continuously innovate and evolve architecture (async, event-driven, messaging) to improve the tech stack.
• Drive feature development through shared product ownership, taking calculated risks and smart shortcuts to maximize business impact.
• Collaborate closely with Front/Mobile teams, Product, and QA Engineers with a strong team spirit.
• Act as a key driver of engineering and product culture, pushing the entire team toward global excellence.

Tech Stack :

• Core:Python (asyncio), FastAPI, REST/GraphQL, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Docker/K8s.
• Legacy / Bonus: PHP, Elasticsearch, MongoDB.

Qualifications

• Strong backend programming skills with deep knowledge of Python (asyncio) and managing SQL databases
• Proven experience designing scalable APIs and event-driven architectures (queues/messaging).
• Data-driven approach to decision-making with a strong interest in analytics.
• Results-oriented and constantly finding relevant shortcuts with a pragmatic approach to delivery
• Fluent in English.
