Senior Bookkeeper / CPA - Automation-Driven Accounting Lead

We are a fast-growing hospitality technology company building automated financial systems for hotels worldwide. We are hiring a senior Bookkeeper or CPA-level professional to oversee a client-specific accounting function while helping drive the transition from manual processing to fully automated, technology-powered workflows. This role blends deep accounting expertise with an operational understanding of automation, quality control, and process improvement.

Requirements

Responsibilities: Oversee the accuracy and integrity of daily accounting work for a large client with significant transaction volume.

● Lead the rollout, testing, and validation of new automation workflows within our tech platform.

● Monitor automated outputs, identify exceptions, and ensure corrective actions are taken quickly.

● Partner with Product & Engineering to refine logic, rules, and system behaviour as automation scales.

● Supervise offshore accounting processors, ensuring accuracy, speed, and adherence to controls.

● Maintain SOPs and internal controls adapted to an automation-first environment.

● Produce performance, accuracy, and exception reports that help guide automation improvements.

● Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve upstream data issues and ensure end-to-end workflow stability.

Experience:

• 5–10+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (high-volume environment preferred).

● CPA, CA, ACCA or similar advanced certification strongly preferred.

● Strong understanding of accounting controls, reconciliations, and process oversight.

● Experience working with automation tools, workflow systems, or software-driven accounting

● Prior experience supervising or reviewing the work of accounting teams.

● Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; strong analytical and communication abilities.
