Position Summary
The Senior Strategic Business Development & Key Account Manager is a senior commercial professional responsible for accelerating Guardant Health’s growth across the UK by expanding adoption of our precision oncology solutions within key strategic accounts in England, while also driving new market development across the devolved nations and the private healthcare sector. This role combines advanced expertise in oncology, diagnostics, and clinical genomics with a highly strategic business development mindset. The individual will act as a trusted partner to clinical, operational, and commercial stakeholders, supporting integration of liquid biopsy into cancer pathways and unlocking new opportunities aligned with national cancer priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and grow relationships with NHS hospital trusts, cancer centres, and private clinics.
Engage KOLs and clinical stakeholders to advance adoption of liquid biopsy technologies.
Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with national objectives.
Drive business expansion across Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Identify and secure opportunities within the private healthcare sector.
Conduct competitive and landscape analysis to support UK strategy.
Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Operations, and global teams to deliver customer solutions.
7–10 years in sales, strategic account management, or business development in oncology/diagnostics.
Experience with NHS and private oncology markets.
Track record of developing new business or opening new territories.
Strong understanding of precision oncology and genomics.

Other Details:
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
