We’re looking for a Sr. Climber Arborist with 3–5+ years of advanced climbing experience who can lead by example, mentor the crew, and deliver high-quality, safe, efficient production.
Tree Work:
Perform complex climbs, technical rigging, precision removals, and pruningWork from rope & saddle, bucket truck, aerial lift, or craneFollow ANSI A300 & Z133 standards
Safety & Risk Management:
Conduct job briefings, hazard assessments, and emergency readinessLead by example with PPE and safety protocols
Equipment:
Operate loaders, stump grinders, chippers, lifts, and crane-assisted setupsUse modern climbing and rigging systems (SRT/ DRT, GCRS)Perform daily gear checks and maintenance
Leadership & Mentorship:
Coach less experienced climbers and ground crewSupport cleanup, stump grinding, planting, hauling
Physical Requirements:
Ability to get in and out of a vehicle multiple times per dayAbility to safely work in adverse and varied weather conditionsAbility to safely work in environments containing hazardous or poisonous plants, and wildlife, including insects, reptiles, and other naturally occurring hazards Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the dayAbility to perform physical labor in moderate to high difficulty range 40-55 hours per week
Qualifications:
VALID Driver’s License (required)CDL preferred3+ years professional climbing experienceAbility to pass pre-employment & random drug testingISA, TRAQ, CTSP preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
