Key Responsibilities

• Design and estimate demand, pricing, and elasticity models using historical and experimental data.
• Apply basic econometrics and applied microeconometrics techniques.
• Develop forecasting models using methods such as:
• Linear/Generalized regressions (OLS, Logit, Probit)
• Regularization (Lasso, Ridge, Elastic Net)
• Time series (ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet, BSTS)
• Tree-based models (XGBoost, LightGBM, Random Forests)
• Design, validate, and scale demand models.
• Support model architecture, automation, and deployment.
• Implement causal inference methods (e.g., DiD, Propensity Score Matching).
• Design and analyze controlled and quasi-experiments.

Must-have Skills 

• 3+ years of professional experience in data science, econometrics, data analysis, or quantitative modeling.
• Proficient in Python, R and SQL; experience with key libraries such as scikit-learn, scipy, XGBoost, LightGBM, statsmodels, statsforecast, Prophet, Orbit, Optuna, and SHAP.
• Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and excellent documentation abilities.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data, product, and business stakeholders.

Nice-to-have:

• AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows. 
• Experience with cloud platforms and MLOps tools, particularly Azure and Databricks (including PySpark, pipelines, deployment, and monitoring)
