We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist with strong telecom domain expertise to lead and deliver AI/ML-driven analytics initiatives across network, customer, and business intelligence use cases. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic thinking with deep technical execution to drive measurable business impact.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML strategy, solution design, and execution for telecom-focused use cases
• Design, build, and deploy models for churn prediction, network optimization, fraud detection, demand forecasting, and ARPU improvement
• Work extensively with large-scale telecom datasets including CDRs, network logs, and OSS/BSS data
• Own the complete model lifecycle: problem definition, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and performance monitoring
• Partner closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable ML solutions
• Mentor and guide senior and mid-level data scientists, setting best practices and technical direction
• Translate complex business challenges into robust, production-ready AI/ML solutions

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or AI/ML roles
• Strong hands-on experience in the Telecom domain, including Network, OSS/BSS, and CDR data
• Deep expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Statistical Modeling
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
• Proven experience deploying and managing models in production environments
• Solid understanding of data pipelines, MLOps, and model governance practices

Good to Have

• Experience applying GenAI / LLMs to telecom use cases
• Exposure to 5G analytics, network intelligence, and self-optimizing networks
• Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Prior experience working with large telecom operators or technology vendors

Education

• BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Electronics, or a related discipline
