Senior Design Engineer (w/m/d)

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer in Getafe.

Your main tasks will be:

• Design and modeling of primary and secondary aircraft structures using steel and composite materials
• Ensure manufacturability, tolerancing, and design compliance with aerospace standards
• Use 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA VPM to manage and deliver design work
• Collaborate with stress engineers, manufacturing teams, and certification engineers
• Create and review technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation
• Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement in design methodologies
• Deliver designs in alignment with project schedules and quality targets

Requirements

About you:

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, or are a qualified CAD Design Technician
• You have 10+ years of senior-level experience in the design of aerospace
• You have deep expertise in steel and composite structural design, manufacturing methods, and tolerancing
• You are fluent in English and Spanish

Mandatory skills:

• Expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA VPM
• Strong understanding of aerospace design standards, GD&T, and design-for-manufacture principles
• Proven collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in aerospace development projects

Added Value:

• Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 aerospace suppliers
• Familiarity with configuration management and PLM systems

Mastered Tools:

• CAD: 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, ENOVIA VPM
