What are we looking for?

In this opportunity, we are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to work with one of our foreign clients, a corporation that, through its subsidiaries, provides life insurance protection targeted to the middle American market.

In this role, you will be responsible for building, automating, and evolving the software, infrastructure, and technologies that our products rely on. You will play a key role in the modernization and migration of existing on-premises infrastructure to a cloud-native, serverless AWS environment, working closely with development teams in an agile setup.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud platforms, automation, and infrastructure design, with hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, application deployment, and observability solutions across development, testing, and production environments.

If you are fully fluent in English, proactive, communicate well, like to solve problems, and have strong attention to detail, this role might be a great fit for you! Our jobs are fully remote and you will be integrated directly into the client’s team, gaining valuable experience and forming meaningful connections.

What's unique about this job?

This role offers the opportunity to be directly involved in a large-scale infrastructure modernization initiative, transitioning legacy on-prem systems into a serverless, cloud-native architecture on AWS.

As part of an agile, cross-functional team, you will collaborate closely with software engineers to automate everything, from CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code to application deployments and system monitoring, ensuring reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across all environments.

You will have real ownership over the DevOps lifecycle, contributing not only through implementation but also through continuous improvement, best practices, and architectural decisions that support long-term platform stability and growth.

Here are some of the exciting day-to-day challenges you will face in this role:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.

  • Analyze and optimize system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with multiple development, security, and operations teams
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, processes, and tools.
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning
  • You will shine if you have:

  • B.S. in Computer Engineering or related field, or commensurate real-world DevOps experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in software organizations in a DevOps role.
