We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Python scripting experience to help design, implement, and maintain efficient, automated systems that drive our development and deployment pipelines.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Write, optimize, and maintain Python scripts to automate deployment, monitoring, configuration, and other operational tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications in different environments (development, staging, production).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, availability, and reliability issues across systems and services.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar, ensuring reproducibility and consistency.
• Continuously improve the CI/CD pipeline to enable faster, safer, and more efficient software delivery.
• Ensure proper logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability across applications and infrastructure.
• Define and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely incident response to minimize system downtime.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and share best practices for automation, scripting, and system management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 4–7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting, with experience in automating complex operational tasks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native services.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for infrastructure, networking, and application issues.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Knowledge of database administration and optimization.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps culture.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
