Our team is charged with maintaining and improving the software at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that supports the Hospital Quality Reporting program. Thousands of hospitals across the country depend on these systems to submit quality measure data that reflects the care beneficiaries receive in their facility. Our teams will continuously strive to modernize these systems, while improving them in ways that reduce provider burden and minimize costs to CMS. We do this through HCD and Service design practices, product thinking, and skilled engineering. At Bellese, we’re relentlessly focused on enabling and empowering providers to focus on improving the quality and safety of patient care.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teammates, external teams, and client stakeholders to ensure quality considerations are integrated at every stage of the SDLC.
Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and relevant documentation that align with software specifications and user requirements to ensure thorough testing of features and functionalities.
Bug Tracking and Resolution: Utilize bug-tracking tools to document, prioritize, and track defects. Facilitate communication across teams to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.

Use GoLang, Python, and Java experience to develop, deploy, and maintain backend applicationsVersion control using Git and GitHubCI/CD processes using JenkinsFrontend development using, Angular, HTML, and TypeScriptDatabase development using SQL (PostgreSQL)Cloud infrastructure with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using TerraformAgile project lifecycle approach to software development
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years of development experienceExperience with GoLang, Python, TypeScript, and Java (at least 3)Frontend development experience with frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, etc.Experience in Agile development methodologyExperience with IaC ideally TerraformKnowledge of end-to-end fully automated CI/CD pipelines, from committing code to deploying to productionRelational Database experience
Desired Skills / Qualifications:
Experience with AWS Lambda and AWS GlueExperience with JenkinsAWS Certifications (move to top of list)
