This role is based in our Aril Hills Building Office
1. Hosted Buyer Program Management:

  • Manage the international hosted buyer program strategy in alignment with the overall event objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential overseas buyers and create a database of qualified leads (at least Top 50-100 in specific and target territories).
  • Identify target industries, regions, and buyer profiles to ensure a diverse and relevant group of hosted buyers.
  • Create and review applications and select hosted buyers based on predefined criteria.
  • Coordinate communication and engagement plans & strategies to attract and confirm participation from selected hosted buyers specially from new associations

2. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define the value proposition for hosted buyers and develop effective outreach strategies.
  • Liaise with event exhibitors to understand their goals and objectives for engaging with hosted buyers.
  • Work closely with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth on-site experiences for hosted buyers, including travel arrangements, accommodation, and transportation.

3. Hosted Buyer Engagement:

  • Develop and execute engagement plans to foster relationships with hosted buyers leading up to the event.
  • Coordinate pre-event meetings and networking opportunities to connect hosted buyers with exhibitors and key industry players.
  • Provide personalized support to hosted buyers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and special requirements.

4. Event Execution:

  • Oversee the on-site experience of hosted buyers, including registration, check-in, and event orientation.
  • Coordinate hosted buyer schedules, ensuring they attend relevant sessions, appointments, and meetings with exhibitors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for hosted buyers during the event, resolving any issues or challenges that may arise.

5. Post-Event Analysis:

  • Gather feedback from hosted buyers and exhibitors to evaluate the effectiveness of the hosted buyer program.
  • Analyze data and metrics to measure the program's success in terms of business connections made, deals closed, and overall satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing hosted buyer programs, events, or relevant roles within the events industry.
  • Marketing and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site during events as required.
