Senior Finance Manager

This is a position within Keller Executive Search and not with one of its clients.

As the Senior Finance Manager based in Zagreb, Croatia, this role leads the internal Finance function and ensures consistent delivery across teams supporting executive search operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute the Finance strategy aligned with business priorities and service standards.
• Manage budgets, vendors, and resource planning for the Finance function.
• Present insights and recommendations to leadership, translating data into practical action.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and operating rhythms to track outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, quality standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, setting clear goals and accountability.
• Identify risks and implement controls to protect service quality, data, and reputation.

Kao Senior Finance Manager sa sjedištem u Zagreb, Croatia, ova uloga vodi internu funkciju Financije i osigurava dosljednu isporuku kroz timove koji podržavaju executive search operacije.

Ključne odgovornosti
• Definirati i provesti strategiju za Financije usklađenu s poslovnim prioritetima i standardima usluge.
• Upravljati budžetima, dobavljačima i planiranjem resursa za funkciju Financije.
• Prezentirati uvide i preporuke vodstvu, pretvarajući podatke u praktične akcije.
• Uspostaviti KPI-je, nadzorne ploče i operativne ritmove za praćenje rezultata i poticanje kontinuiranog poboljšanja.
• Osigurati usklađenost s internim politikama, standardima kvalitete i relevantnim regulatornim zahtjevima.
• Voditi, mentorirati i razvijati tim visokih performansi uz jasne ciljeve i odgovornosti.
• Prepoznati rizike i uvesti kontrole za zaštitu kvalitete usluge, podataka i reputacije.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
• Proven ability to set strategy and deliver measurable outcomes in a fast-paced professional services environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and experience working across functions and geographies.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and complex initiatives end-to-end.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance leadership roles, including people management.
• Knowledge of relevant local regulations and best practices that impact Finance operations.
• Data-driven approach with comfort using metrics, reporting, and process improvement methods.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional local language capability is an advantage.

• Diploma preddiplomskog studija je obavezna; napredna diploma ili profesionalna certifikacija je poželjna.
• Dokazana sposobnost postavljanja strategije i isporuke mjerljivih rezultata u dinamičnom okruženju profesionalnih usluga.
• Snažno upravljanje dionicima te iskustvo rada međufunkcionalno i na više lokacija.
• Iskustvo upravljanja budžetom, dobavljačima i kompleksnim inicijativama od početka do kraja.
• 10+ godina progresivnog iskustva u vodstvu u području Financije, uključujući upravljanje ljudima.
• Poznavanje relevantnih lokalnih propisa i najboljih praksi koje utječu na Financije.
• Pristup temeljen na podacima, uz sigurnost u metrike, izvještavanje i poboljšanje procesa.
• Izvrsne komunikacijske vještine na engleskom; dodatno poznavanje lokalnog jezika je prednost.
