You’ll work primarily with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, while designing and maintaining API integrations and Google Apps Script solutions that power real business processes. This is not a “frontend-only” role — backend thinking and integration experience are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript

  • Design, develop, and optimize Google Apps Script solutions for automation and system integration

  • Implement and maintain API integrations between internal systems and third-party services

  • Develop backend services and integration layers with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance

  • Translate business requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions

  • Write clean, well-structured, and well-documented code following best practices

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving multiple systems and data flows

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical and architectural decisions

  • Collaborate closely with product, operations, and other engineering teams

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience

  • Strong expertise in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and ES6+ JavaScript

  • Hands-on experience with Google Apps Script for automation and integrations

  • Solid background in RESTful API design, development, and consumption

  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and services

  • Working knowledge of authentication and authorization (OAuth, API keys, JWT)

  • Understanding of webhooks and real-time or near–real-time data synchronization

  • Experience with Next.js server-side rendering and API routes

  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles

  • Ability to design scalable, maintainable integration solutions

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other backend technologies (Node.js, Python, etc.)

  • Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

  • Strong experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows
