At EX Squared LATAM, we connect top engineering talent across the region with innovative digital projects. We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with strong experience in PHP / Laravel and Shopify to help build and maintain scalable, high-quality e-commerce solutions.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working across backend and frontend layers, with a strong focus on Shopify-based platforms and custom integrations.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and Laravel.

• Build and customize Shopify themes and storefronts, leveraging Liquid and Shopify APIs.

• Integrate Shopify with backend services and third-party systems.

• Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable code following best software engineering practices.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve performance across e-commerce applications.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack or Backend Developer.

• Strong, hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel in production environments.

• Solid experience working with Shopify, including custom themes, Liquid templating, and API integrations.

• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the context of e-commerce applications.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality and maintainability.

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1) — able to collaborate with international teams.

Nice to Have (Important):

• Experience with ReactJS for modern frontend development.

• Experience building or integrating services using NodeJS.
