Senior Java Developer (Angular)
About You
You are someone who enjoys solving complex problems and working in live environments. You are comfortable navigating existing systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability and performance.
You are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication with both technical teams and client stakeholders.
You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience with Java / Java EE and Spring / Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of Angular / AngularJS for UI fixes and enhancements.
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (queries, debugging, troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with JBoss or Apache application servers.
- Experience working with AWS (monitoring, deployments, or troubleshooting in cloud environments).
- Knowledge of Linux commands and Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk or New Relic.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- Exposure to Groovy, PHP, or legacy systems. (Nice to have)
- Advanced English proficiency is required, as you will work directly with US-based clients.
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the support ticket queue and production alerts.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents.
- Participate in operational and control calls with client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Dev, QA, and DevOps teams to identify root causes and implement long-term fixes.
- Support deployment processes and validate post-release stability.
- Contribute to performance improvements, automation initiatives, and system optimization.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of issues and technical resolutions.
