Role Summary
Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Systems to lead implementation, optimization, and support of the company’s financial systems and related processes. This position ensures that systems such as ERP, planning/forecasting tools, reporting platforms, and integrations support accurate financial reporting, scalable growth, and efficient operations.
This role will report to the Controller and work closely with Accounting, FP&A, Capital Markets, IT teams, and cross-functionally across the organization.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 5% for company gatherings or to project sites.
Location: Denver, CO (hybrid in-office role)
Compensation: $150 - $185K (Offers Bonus)
Essential Responsibilities
Financial Systems Strategy & Governance
Support the development and execution of the financial systems roadmap aligned with business strategy and growth objectives
Lead enhancements and ongoing optimization of core financial systems, including ERP, planning/forecasting, consolidation, and reporting platforms
Establish and enforce system governance, including change management, access controls, documentation standards, and configuration best practices
Implementation & Integration
Manage financial system implementations, upgrades, and integrations with operational and third party systems (e.g., Procore, Expensify, TriNet, HiBob).
Oversee system configuration, including creation, modification, and retirement of fields, records, and workflows
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and postimplementation support
Process Optimization
Identify and drive continuous improvements in financial processes such as close, intercompany, allocations, and automated reporting
Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline data flows, improve data quality, and reduce manual effort through automation
Reporting, Analytics & Controls
Oversee design and automation of financial reports and dashboards for Accounting, FP&A, and Operations. This includes building reports to be used by the finance team
Ensure financial systems support internal controls and compliance requirements, including SOC and other regulatory or audit needs
Partner with finance leadership to ensure reporting outputs meet business, operational, and decision making needs
Team Leadership & Support
Serve as a subject‑matter expert for financial systems, providing advanced user support and troubleshooting
Develop and deliver training, documentation, and best practices to improve system adoption and effective usage across finance teams
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for financial systems vendors and implementation partners
Manage vendor relationships, support contracts, service levels, and deliverables to ensure timely and high quality outcomes
Risk Management
Identify system related risks and implement mitigation strategies related to security, data integrity, and access management
Partner with IT to ensure appropriate controls and monitoring are in place
Education, Skills, and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
Experience: 7 to 10+ years in financial systems roles; experience managing ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and planning/reporting tools
Strong understanding of core financial processes, including general ledger, close, consolidations, and financial reporting
Advanced technical proficiency with financial systems, reporting/BI tools, and data analysis (e.g., SQL)
Demonstrated success leading system implementations and continuous improvement initiatives
Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate effectively in a cross functional, fast paced environment
