We're on the lookout for an experienced Optimizely Developer to join our Sydney team. You'll be
responsible for integrating HTML templates, developing .NET components in Optimizely & services
for bespoke and CMS driven web applications. You'll be an expert in implementing content
management, application functionality and integration requirements while working within an agile
development process.
Working closely with the delivery team and applying industry best practices, you will ensure that all
code developed is well architected, clean, consistent, and accurate ensuring that implementation
meets in the definition of done.

  • Integrate and customise HTML templates within Optimizely CMS environments
  • Design, develop and maintain .NET components and services for bespoke and CMS-driven web applications
  • Implement and manage content management solutions to support business and marketing requirements
  • Build and enhance application functionality to improve user experience and performance
  • Develop and maintain system integrations with third-party platforms and internal services
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable development solutions
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, testing and peer reviews
  • Work collaboratively within an agile development framework, participating in sprints, stand-ups and retrospectives
  • Troubleshoot, optimise and maintain existing applications and CMS platforms
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of specific experience in developing Optimizely Content Management Solutions or
  • other .Net CMS (Sitecore, Umbraco, Kentico)
  • 5+ years design and development of building public facing commercial .NET applications
  • Solid ASP.NET C# MVC5
  • Structured and secure REST APIs based on WebAPI
  • Azure SQL and MS SQL Server
  • Entity Framework and IoC such as Autofac or StructureMap
  • Solid understanding of web standards and technologies (HTTP, Request/Response, SSL, Browser
  • caching, cookies, domains, JSON/XML, HTML, DOM etc)
  • Git workflow
  • Mentoring fellow developers
  • A champion of good coding standards and design principles
