Senior .NET | WPF Developer - Energy Sector - Brussels - Freelance / CDI

We are looking for one Senior .NET Developer to strengthen established software development teams and support ongoing initiatives. The consultant will participate in delivering high‑quality applications following the company’s development standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality .NET applications aligned with internal guidelines
• Contribute to design discussions and propose improvements
• Ensure maintainability, reliability, and performance of the developed solutions
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and communicate proactively with stakeholders

Qualifications

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with .NET 8
• Advanced proficiency in Entity Framework Core
• Strong experience with WPF
• Good knowledge of SQL Server
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Team‑oriented with a collaborative mindset

Languages

The candidate must meet one of the following combinations:

• French with passive understanding of Dutch (Flemish), or
• Dutch (Flemish) with passive understanding of French
  In addition: very good knowledge of English
